ITF Elite Stage & Competition 2026 – Asunción (Paraguay)

The Federación Paraguaya de Taekwon-Do ITF – FETREP is preparing to welcome the ITF Elite Stage & Competition 2026 in Asunción, Paraguay, with the institutional support of the Federación Sudamericana de Taekwon-Do ITF.
Paraguay will host an international event combining high-level training, competition, technical development, sporting exchange and a special gala that is expected to become one of the main highlights of the international calendar.
During three days, athletes, instructors, competitors and practitioners from different countries will have the opportunity to live a unique experience, training, competing and sharing together with leading representatives of ITF Taekwon-Do from South America, Europe and other regions.

- Official venue

The event will take place at the ARENA SND, one of Paraguay’s main sporting venues, located in the city of Asunción.
The venue will offer spaces specially prepared for seminars, training sessions, competitions, demonstrations and special activities.
The main stadium will have capacity for up to 8 competition areas of 10 x 10 metres, in addition to a complementary space in the secondary pavilion, prepared for technical and training activities.

- Participation

The event will be open to practitioners from green belt and above, with a broad and inclusive proposal designed to allow the participation of athletes, instructors and competitors of different levels and ages.

In order to guarantee the best possible experience for all participants, places will be limited. For this reason, priority will be given to the first registrations completed through the official platform.

The objective is to offer an accessible, demanding and enriching international experience, combining learning, competition, sporting fellowship and direct contact with a high-performance environment.

- International Gala: Europe Team vs South America Team

One of the main attractions of this edition will be the International Competition Gala, featuring as its main event the match between the Europe Team and the South America Team.

This proposal will continue the successful format developed in La Nucía, Spain, in January 2026, where athletes from both continents participated in a high-level sporting experience, in an atmosphere of excellence, camaraderie and true international projection.

In Asunción, the gala will seek to once again raise the standard of the sporting spectacle within ITF Taekwon-Do, offering top-level matches, a special staging and an unforgettable experience for competitors, coaches, delegations and spectators.

Un proyecto de cooperación pionero entre la Federación Europea de Taekwon-Do ITF y la Federación Sudamericana de Taekwon-Do ITF que abre una nueva era para el desarrollo internacional y la competición de alto nivel en el continente americano. No se tratará de un seminario más. Será un encuentro de culturas, equipos, campeones y futuras generaciones unidas por el espíritu del Taekwon-Do ITF. Los organizadores colaborarán para que sea un gran éxito y un evento motivador para todos los participantes.

The event will have the support of GRAN MARC as official sponsor.

Participants registered within the promotional period will receive an official event T-shirt, specially designed for this edition.

- Asunción welcomes the Elite Stage

The ITF Elite Stage & Competition 2026 – Asunción will be much more than a sporting event. It will be an opportunity to train, compete, share and experience ITF Taekwon-Do in an international environment, with the warmth of Paraguay and the organizational support of FETREP, together with the institutional backing of the Federación Sudamericana de Taekwon-Do ITF.
